Kolon Industries, inc. proudly presents "Chamude," a high-tech
material that feels so much like leather you'll swear it is. Chamude
offers new alternatives to leather use in terms of durability, absorbability,
ventilation and warmth-retention and oh¡¦don't forget that feeling!
This fantastic new product is based on the latest ultra fine microfiber
technology producing thickness of about (1/1,000th ) the diameter of
a human hair.
Chamude comes in two types: suede and substrate for coating.
Both may be applied to various articles such as coats, sofas,
gloves, bags, dress shoes - as with leather, the possibilities
are simply endless! And to make it a snap to get hold of,
we're going to develop Chamude as a major brand, available
through Kolon's large distribution network.
Chamude's clarity of color in addition to its lightness and thinness
enables it to be used for four-seasons fashions. Standardization
and equalization of Chamude in place of real leather processing
underscores the deficiencies of using natural leather and allows
large-scale production of completed goods in a timely manner.
We are planning to expand sales in Latin America, Europe and
China, as well as in markets we've already cultivated.
