Kolon's Chamude, simply put, has changed leather history! Just
another Kolon miracle after 35 years of experience manufacturing
the most advanced textiles.

Ok, enough tooting our horn! Back to the basics.

The ultra precision process for Chamude includes ultra microfiber,
nonwoven, elastomer treatment, dyeing and finishing.

The first step is the ultra microfiber process in which two kinds of
polymers, each having different solubility, are spun and stretched to
make them thinner and longer.

When one of the two polymers is dissolved in a solvent after
manufacturing nonwoven, bundles of ultra microfibers are created.

The second step is the nonwoven process in which a three-
dimensional entanglement structure is mechanically accomplished
by needle punching, to obtain the reticular structure of natural leather.

The third step, a special polymer treatment, gives it the functions,
shape and touch of natural leather.

Through this entire operation, each fiber forms a bunched shape of
natural leather, not tangled, and resembles natural leather in function,
feeling and appearance.

The last step is the dyeing and finishing process - assisted quite a bit
by Kolon's unique experience in this field - allowing for long-lasting,
brilliant colors, and voila! "Chamude"
