Kolon Industries, Inc. was the first manufacturer of nylon filament yarn
in Korea.
Recognized as a pioneer in the local nylon filament yarn industry,
Kolon is now one of the world's leading manufacturers of various
high-quality nylon and polyester fibers.
By capitalizing on its technological know-how through intensive
research and development, Kolon has focused on the production of
high value-added products including several new synthetic fibers
whose performance exceeds that of natural fibers.
We are currently able to produce ultra micro fibers of 0.001 denier,
which is just one measure of our high industrial standards.
We have also computerized our operations so that the entire
production process, - from the input of raw materials to the packaging
of final products, - is a single, seamless, automated system.
Kolon is also making full use of its technological innovations and
capabilities to spearhead its international expansion.
