| Description |
| AASTROLL FM is an uncoated, transparent Poly(ethylene terephthalate) film designed for vacuum metallizing process. When thin deposit of aluminum is applied, remarkable barrier property against oxygen, nitrogen, water vapor and other gases is developed. It can be treated with corona in order to improve the adhesion to various inks and coating materials. The corona is treated in-, out-, or both sides of the film. The available thicknesses are 12, 16, and 25μm (48, 64, and 100 gauge). |

| Characteristics |
| ASTROLL FM, in its metallized form, is applied to packages for the protection of sensitive food products maximizing shelf-life. For its opacity (light barrier property), the aluminum deposit may be an additional protective factor for better keeping of many types of food. ASTROLL FM is frequently provided in a metallized form for the manufacture of metallic yarn because of its great tensile strength and high temperature resistance. |
