As reinforcing materials, tire cord fabric play a vital role in the
quality of tires.
After producing high-quality nylon and polyester yarns through the
process of polymerization, spinning and drawing, KOLON tire cords
undergo further twisting and weaving to be made into raw fabrics,
followed by dipping in an adhesive solution to provide adhesion
with rubber, and heat treating for dimensional stability of
tire cord fabrics.
Since entering the tire cord business in 1973, KOLON has received
recognition for superior quality from world's leading tire
manufactures such as Goodyear, Bridgestone, Michelin, Continental
and domestic maker of Kumho, Hankook, Nexen.
