Kolon Industries, Inc. has played a major role in the development of
the Korean economy, initially as the nation's first producer of synthetic
fiber, and today as a manufacturer of a wide variety of chemical
products.
Our production facilities have an annual polymerization and
compounding capacity of 60,000 tons, turning out some 300 varieties
of PA, PBT and acetal resin aided by our 40 years of accumulated
polymer technology.
We continue to expand our product scope, participating actively in the
polyacetal business in a joint venture with Toray of Japan.
Another key field at Kolon Industries is special engineering plastics,
represented by polyester elastomer, alloy resin, PET resin for bottles,
PEN-PET copolymer, and various special and high-function resins
- all developed with Kolon's own technologies. |
