As a proof of Kolon's advances in the polymer technology,
Kolon currently manufacture over 300 kinds of engineering plastics,
including PA, PBT and acetal copolymer.
This is equivalent to over 60,000 tons of polymerization, compounds
and molded products produced annually.
Thanks to our highly sophisticated technology, we produce numerous
high performance plastics such as KOPEL thermo plastic polyester
elastomer and NOPLA (PEN / PET copolymers).
Kolon has already acquired the patent rights for NOPLA from US
Patent Bureau.
Recently, we launched POM business under the brand name, KOCETAL
and establishing a joint collaboration with Japan's Toray Inc.
called the KTP Inc.
Kolon is also marketing the casting design service since its possesses
one of the most advanced molding facility and uses the latest
CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) system. |
